I really love the photo sets that Exposeur has been creating recently. This one, The Keyhole, is available at the Dark Style Fair. Rather than going in a dark direction with it, I decided to use it as a gate to something bright, perhaps on the other side of death. I envision my avatar as some kind of angel who welcomes people to what is beyond.

The incredible jacket that I’m wearing is new from Gabriel at Kustom9. It’s available in 4 different colors, each of which comes 3 versions – white t-shirt, black t-shirt, and no shirt. My necklace is from Empyrean Forge at We ❤ Roleplay. The amount of detail that they put into their creations is just unreal. My sandals are the new Gustav sandals from ..::ILLI::..*. Happy Tuesday! I’ve been in a very “blue” mood so far this week, and I think that really comes through in this post. I absolutely love this pose environment from Exposeur. It’s out at the current round of FaMESHed and includes 20 different poses and their mirrors in and around these white rooms. The shirt from [monso] is also at FaMESHed this month. Fantasy Gacha Carnival opened today, and one of the machines contains this hair from Damselfly. Finally, I posted these jeans last week, but you really couldn’t see them too well because I was wearing a long top with them

Cinco de Mayo started out as a day to remember and celebrate the Mexican victory over the French at the Battle of Puebla, but has since transformed into a day to celebrate Mexican culture. I put this outfit together using mostly older items, but the Wonton Sude Fringe Jacket from the round of The Mens Dept that just opened today was really what I needed to bring it all together. I also adjusted the newly-updated FATEstep Ziggy Chucks* (now available in an unrigged version so that you can manually adjust them) to be the colors of the Mexican flag, which matched them to the jacket and sombrero. Happy Cinco de Mayo!

Atlas at the Gym

A couple of weeks ago, another male mesh body was released, this one more muscular than the popular Mesh Project body. The Niramyth Aesthetic body has arrived! There have been many other posts on other blogs detailing the body’s strengths and weaknesses – the lack of alpha cuts, the difficulty of making it worth with the default avatar head (I never got mine to look right with it, so I am wearing the included mesh head), and the lack of clothes that fit it currently compared to the excellently-sculpted chiseled physique. Personally, I feel that The Mesh Project’s body is more “me,” but Niramyth’s body is very well-made, and I can see myself using it situationally.

To show off the body in the photo above, I’m wearing Casa Del Shai‘s mystery rare from TAG! Gacha, the spinning globe! I think it works perfectly to turn the Niramyth body into an Atlas-like character. Now, it is Fantasy Faire time still, so I incorporated a bit of that using the lamps and the building. Both are from Fallen Gods, and are Relay For Life donation items.

The Niramyth body is currently lacking clothing, but one of the best things that has been made for it so far is this pair of workout shorts*, created by ..::ILLI::..! They come with a HUD that lets you choose from 10 different colors, and then you’re also able to tint from there. All of the decor from N4RS finished off the scene, creating a tranquil area for the Niramyth body to stay in shape. Full credits are below!

When I saw this outfit at Menswear Fashion Week, I knew that I had found my Easter outfit for this year. It’s just so cute! Unfortunately, the shorts don’t fit the legs of The Mesh Project’s male body at all, so I’m back to the standard avatar for today! I’m also wearing my favorite boots on the Grid, the Anthony boots by FATEstep*. To my right is a gorgeous new seating area that Sway’s has out for Uber called the Edna Arbour*. The cushions color change, and there’s a huge variety of poses inside the seating area itself. To my left is an adorable statue that Ohmai put out at Creation.JP, as well as two of the goldfish that were created to fit in it. This little corner of my sim is a place that I love, and these two things were just what I needed to make it perfect for spring.

Long Walks on the Beach

Menswear Fashion Week opened today, and I knew I was in trouble when I saw that the theme was Bali. Half of my land stays as a huge beach the whole year, so I knew that I would see so many things there that I just had to have. This outfit shows you a few of them.

First, the Barong sarong by Fallen Gods Inc and Faida in the “exotic purple” color is a Relay For Life donation item, so I knew I had to have it immediately. The recent partnership between Fallen Gods and Faida has been amazing to see. Tag’s “No Diggity” leather sandals are also a Relay For Life donation item , and come in both an unrigged version and a version that is rigged for Slink feet. The Leather Cross Bracelet from V-Spot is also a Relay For Life donation item, and I think it looks fantastic. The Shirtless Tshirt from INVICTUS on my shoulder adds a nice accent to the beach feel of the outfit. The Ellie necklace from Velvet Elvis is so incredibly detailed, especially for being made of sculpties. Finally, the Baat arm and leg tribal tattoos from Ghost’Ink cap off the look perfect.

From outside of Menswear Fashion Week, I added the bracelet from Mandala’s Fearless set from the current round of Uber that opened a few days ago, [SteinWerk]’s Bonnie & Clyde sunglasses, and Exile’s new hairstyle “Give Away Your Secrets”. Wine and Denim

Hi there! After having this domain name for about 10 months and meaning to start up a blog time and time again, I’ve finally decided to take the plunge and do it after some prodding from a few friends. If you’d like to read a little bit more about me, my time in SL, and where I’m coming from, please feel free to read through the “About Me” tab to learn more about my journey.

Today, I’m blogging a simple outfit that highlights a few things I really like right now. The shirt is from Scars and is at Fashion For Life, which is open now, as a donation item to raise money for Relay For Life. This year’s Fashion For Life was the first time I heard of Scars, but I’ll certainly be visiting their main store. The jeans are from Lenox, and were at an event last November. Finally, the boots are from FATEstep, which just recently launched. The Anthony boots* were something that I had been looking for for a very long time, but hadn’t been able to find. I suggested them to Damien Fate, the creator behind FATEstep, and was completely shocked to find out that he named them and the leather version (the Matthew boots) after me.
