Tahitian Picnic

The Multicultural Menu is a brand new annual event that opened on the 1st featuring food from 6 different regions of the world created by some of Second Life’s best creators.  The Tahitian Feast gacha set by Kei-Spot fits my beach perfectly!  It consists of 7 commons, 2 rares, and one ultra rare with a pull price of L$50.  I have the whole set rezzed here except for one of the rares – the cooking pit.  I have it off to the right of what the photo shows, but I couldn’t fit it into the picture.

In other exciting news, FATEwear released some new summerwear today!  The Craig hoodie* and Brian shorts* were released in a multitude of colors, as well as a color-gradient non-striped hoodie and camouflage-patterned shorts.  I really love the Craig hoodie – it’s something I’ve been looking for in Second Life for a long time now, so I’m glad that a high-quality designer like FATEwear made one.  I’m also wearing the new James flip flops by ..::ILLI::..  Using the HUD that they come with, I was able to tint them to match the hoodie perfectly.  Full credits are below!

Midnight Beach Party

The Arcade is here!  The grid’s most popular gacha event launched yesterday with a huge array of machines by a multitude of creators.  Many of the creations are summery, which I absolutely adore.  Today’s post features items from Zaara‘s machine, “Goa Party”.  This set is a collection of clothing, accessories, and decor items with heavy influences from the party culture of Goa, India.  Maybe the shock of the set to me was that the fitmesh pants – which were made, rigged, and advertised for women – fit my The Mesh Project male mesh body almost perfectly!  I thought that the fit might be passable, but I’m shocked at how perfect it is.  The sunglasses, necklace, and bracelets are each only one mesh, so they’re extremely easy to resize to fit your avatar.  All the decor in the photo is also from that set, from the hut that I’m standing in to the posters on the walls and everything in between.  The set also includes a few mind-altering substances that I didn’t show in the photo.

MINA is quickly becoming one of my favorite hair creators.  I love the dark blonde colors, and their styles are usually awesome.  The hair I’m wearing is new from them at FaMESHed and comes in sizes to fit both males and females.  Full credits are below!

Special Delivery

The Arcade starts in just a couple of days, and {theosophy} is releasing a set of bicycle carts with different types of food.  I’ve chosen to use the pizza cart* for this photo because let’s face it, the world would be a better place if pizza carts like these were more prevalent.  I’m also wearing a pair of new accessories from the event Cosmopolitan – the 7mad;Ravens Journey sunglasses and Meva black teeth necklace.  The last new item I’m wearing is the Timbo Boots* from ..::ILLI::.., which are new in their main store.  Full credits are below!

A Lazy Tuesday

Uber opened yesterday, and I’ll be honest – the Indian theme isn’t my usual aesthetic, so I didn’t think I’d find much.  Much to my surprise, I walked away with quite a few things, and would have bought even more had my avatar been female because of all of the gorgeous dresses!  I still found some awesome things that ended up in my inventory, though.  For example, this shirt from Cold Ash, sandals from FLite, and hanging bed from junk. are all from the event.  I have this all set up on the back porch of a new home that I just bought a couple of weeks ago – Redgrave released it back in the fall, but I just changed to it.  I’m also wearing a bracelet that NOMAD released at Men Only Monthly that I featured a couple of days ago but that wasn’t really visible in the photo – this photo offers a much better angle of it.

In addition, this is my first post wearing a mesh head!  I’m still pretty undecided on it, but I was surprised how similar The Mesh Project‘s “Classic” head is to my normal face shape – I just wish it wasn’t so pouty.  Full credits are below.

Steel Drum Solo

I was recently looking through all the things I’ve gotten in the past for my beach, and added these great steel drums.  These are a few years old, and the creator, Xavian Starsider, doesn’t appear to have a store anymore, but they play 27 steel drum songs and are a whole lot of fun.  I got them at the Fantasy Faire in 2012.  Even though they’re a bit old, they’re a fun addition to my beach for this summer.

I’m wearing a couple of items from Men Only Monthly, which opened a few days ago.  First, the Caseo necklace from AZOURY is an awesome necklace that fits a beachy attitude perfectly.  The Rebel bracelet from NOMAD isn’t really too visible in this photo, but it’s a great accent piece.

The Necromancer’s Call

One of my favorite skin designers is Fallen Gods, Inc and when I saw the Nekromantia gacha at Fantasy Gacha Carnival, I immediately knew that this was the photo I wanted to take using it.  This particular skin is the Lord of the Shadows (Coal)* skin.  In addition, I’m also wearing the Deathcall tattoo in Acid*.  The clothing that I’m wewaring is also from Fantasy Gacha Carnival, created by !gO!.  The podium is from an old Apple Fall/An Lar gacha set, but all of Apple Fall’s old gacha machines are currently on sale for L$25 per pull at their main store!  Full credits are below.

The Key To The Beyond

I really love the photo sets that Exposeur has been creating recently.  This one, The Keyhole, is available at the Dark Style Fair.  Rather than going in a dark direction with it, I decided to use it as a gate to something bright, perhaps on the other side of death.  I envision my avatar as some kind of angel who welcomes people to what is beyond.

The incredible jacket that I’m wearing is new from Gabriel at Kustom9.  It’s available in 4 different colors, each of which comes 3 versions – white t-shirt, black t-shirt, and no shirt.  My necklace is from Empyrean Forge at We ❤ Roleplay.  The amount of detail that they put into their creations is just unreal.  My sandals are the new Gustav sandals from ..::ILLI::..*.  Full credits are below!

Tribal Shaman

Over the past few days, Alchemy has released a pair of incredible gachas that compliment each other extremely well.  At first, I was a bit disappointed in the first one at Fantasy Gacha Carnival until I realized that the bottoms for the outfit in it actually fit my avatar!  That machine also has the headdress and mantle that I am wearing in the photo above.  It’s worth noting that that machine has three different (rare) lion mounts with matching (common) companions available as well.  The second machine, at The Secret Affair which opened yesterday, features a series of panther mounts with matching companions.  The leopard mount is what I chose for this photo.  To complete the tribal look, I chose the Eldir body paint from Ghost’Ink, which is also at the current round of the Fantasy Gacha Carnival.  Full credits are below!
